One of the most important objectives of the Mioritics association is cultivating active tourism, of open-air activities and promoting some destinations and events with special potential but not included in the current tourism circuits.
dor de duca | where to go when you want to leave home – the agenda of the tourism events in Romania,
is a site promoting events and destinations with tourism and cultural potential. The calendar allows the visitors to plan their holidays and exits in open-air, depending on the interesting events in a certain period, having, at the same time, access to a data base with hosting offers and weather forecast in the area.
At the same time, we tried to cultivate the interest for hiking, by publishing some travel impressions and new destinations and site developing-expedition log.
The first participation at the Digital Romania Project is the fruit of the
Photo Raid
2004 and contains the coordinates of the Saxon fortified churches in the Sibiu - Sighisoara area and of some pensions and tourism objectives in the same area.
